Of course, they are good for making banana bread. But did you know that you can freeze them to use for later uses in smoothies?!
I was reading Home Jewels blog on Frugal living where she mentioned how she got good deals on overripe bananas and what she does with them. She will cut them up into 1-2 inch pieces and freeze them.
What other things do you make with overripe bananas?
Is just one of the forums we offer on the board. Mom’s sign up to have their turn as “Mom of the Week”, where we learn more about her over the week. She shares some facts about herself, then has a quiz to see how well we know her. Then its our turn to ask her lots of questions, to get to know her better. Thursday is picture day, where she can post any pictures she would like. Its so nice to see the pictures from baby years up to the present.

As most of you know (well the members anyway), we recently switched our hosting over to Host Gator. The transfer took a couple of days to get organized but otherwise went off without a hitch! Thank you everyone for your patience! Now that we’re back up and running, I expect to see you all chatting up a storm and playing arcade games. hehehehehe ;o)

Speaking of blogging…. we would like to start a monthly “Mom’s Corner” portion of our blog. This is where any member of the board can sign up to be a guest blogger and have an article published on the site by them. The article can be anything regarding mommyhood or women issues.
